A Special General Meeting was held on 22nd February to discuss a number of important changes to the constitution of the society. The meeting discussed, amongst other topics, the name of the Society and agreed to retain the existing name but review the situation in a couple of years’ time. It was also agreed to amend the Constitution in the meantime to allow for the performance of opera. The provisions for honorary membership were slightly amended too.
